Sisters killed for alleged affair with step-brother
New Delhi: Dead bodies of two minor girls were found near in a village canal in Sonepat, Haryana on Saturday. Police have registered a case of murder based on the postmortem reports, against their grandmother and uncles. According to the police, the accused suspected that the victims Chanchal and Rajkumari were having an affair with their step-brother and so killed them to protect the family's honour. The matter is under investigation.
Rajender Singh, DSP, Sonepat said, “The police was informed about the dead bodies and we started to investigate. The bodies were sent for a postmortem that confirmed their murder. A case has been registered against their family and we are investigating the matter.”
