Sri Lanka restrict India to 268
New Delhi: Crucial fifty from Dinesh Karthik and few cameos down the order helped India reach 268/6 in the Asia Cup final in Dambulla on Thursday.
Karthik (66 off 84) played a patient knock and shared an important partnership with skipper MS Dhoni (38 off 50) in the middle of the innings. India once looking good to touch 300 mark, finished twenty run short, after the dismissal of Karthik and Dhoni.
For Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga and Thilina Kandamby shared two wickets each.
