Pak terror groups behind Kashmir mob violence

Srinagar: Pakistan-based terror groups are busy fomenting trouble in the Kashmir Valley and are behind the recent incidents of stone pelting by mobs even as curfew was relaxed in parts of uptown Srinagarincluding Barzalla, Sanatnagar and Rawalpora areas of the city on Friday.
After Lashkar-e-Toiba another terror organisation, Hizb-ul Mujahideen, has been found to be instigating violence in the Kashmir Valley, claim Government sources. The new transcript is apparently of a conversation between a Srinagar-based Hizbul commander Ab Inquilabi and a stone pelting suspect.
Inquilabi is heard asking the suspect if stone pelting was still on to which the suspect replied yes. "Kya baat hui hai yaar (my friend what is happening)," he asks. Then Inquilabi asks whether stone-pelting has begun and the answer is in affirmative.
"Pata nahi. Halat kharab huyi hai (I do not know. The situation has worsened)," responds the unidentified person from Shopian, according to the transcripts.
"Yeh Hindustani fauj panga le rahi hai Kashmiriyon ke saath. Yeh kahan chhodegi inko (The Indian Army is troubling Kashmiris. It will not spare them)," remarks Inquilabi.
"Chhodte nahi yeh (They don't spare)," is the response.
Inquilabi asks whether a procession is to be taken out on that day and the response is that it is to start at 9 am.
The Shopian-based person says that an announcement had been made in the morning that all should participate in the protest. He then informs that security forces have clamped curfew at night.
Inquilabi says that he has heard about more Army being requisitioned. The response is, "yes, some has reached."
Inquilabi then asks, "was Army not there earlier?"
His contact replies that it is in some strength in Srinagar, but in Shopian and Pulwama it is CRPF and police.
The transcripts come after the arrest of Hurriyat Conference leader Shabir Ahmad Wani in Budgam. Wani was heard in conversation with another separatist leader, allegedly instigating violence in the Valley. On Thursday, sources in the Home Ministry told CNN-IBN that intelligence intercepts point to the hand of hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani's Hurriyat for the recent violence in the Valley.
Meanwhile, CRPF Special Director General, NK Tripathi, told CNN-IBN that the situation in the Vally is tense but his forces will continue to do its job
"There is no denying that situation remains tense. Normalcy with curfew has no meaning. We have to restore normalcy after curfew is lifted or relaxed. Stone pelting is detriment to law and order. The force has shown tremendous restraint. Stone pelting has been ferocious and violent and some miscreants are very motivated. They may be angry but they are creating tremendous law and order problems. Stone pelters have ransacked CRPF camp and harassed police," said Tripathi.
"A section of crowd is instigated, miscreants lead the crowd, and they are probably even funded. In last month we have had 200 injuries of our force. We are doing our job and will continue to do so. This phase will be an aberration in normalcy," he said
Despite curfew in Srinagar and neighbouring areas security forces claimed that on Thursday night there were incidents of stone pelting. They said that residents came out and threw stones at security forces on Friday night at around 9 PM.
However, on Friday no incidents of violence were reported from the Valley.
