Sohrabuddin probe top cop booked for murder

Ahmedabad: Gujarat IPS officer, Kuldeep Sharma, who played a key role in exposing several of the accused in the Sohrabuddin case, has been booked for murder and kidnapping in a 26-year-old case. The additional DGP was involved in the Sohrabuddin case along with the CBI.
Kuldeep Sharma has been booked for the alleged killing of five members of a Kutch family in 1984.
Sharma was instrumental in persuading the Patel builder brothers to record a conversation between them and DCP Abhay Chudasama that showed how Amit Shah, top police official Vanzara and others conspired to cover up the truth in the Sohrabuddin case.
A complaint against Sharma was made to the DGP in Feburary.
