Sohrabuddin probe top cop booked for murder
Ahmedabad: Gujarat IPS officer, Kuldeep Sharma, who played a key role in exposing several of the accused in the Sohrabuddin case, has been booked for murder and kidnapping in a 26-year-old case. The additional DGP was involved in the Sohrabuddin case along with the CBI.
Kuldeep Sharma has been booked for the alleged killing of five members of a Kutch family in 1984.
Sharma was instrumental in persuading the Patel builder brothers to record a conversation between them and DCP Abhay Chudasama that showed how Amit Shah, top police official Vanzara and others conspired to cover up the truth in the Sohrabuddin case.A complaint against Sharma was made to the DGP in Feburary.
